My second time here and both times the menudo is excellent. This really is a good place to grab a delicious bowl of menudo. Many come close but I haven't had menudo any better than at La Placita. I had the red menudo but I see there is a white menudo. I will need to try that next time.

I have not tried every menudo served in Fresno. But this is the best one I have tried. Very flavorful broth and a nice assortment of tripe chunks. During the week they only serve the red menudo with chile, not the plain menudo. It is not very spicy. The aguas we tried (horchata, tamarindo, and jamaica) were excellent. Generous portions and nice and tangy the way we like them. We also tried the flautas, but they were a bit overcooked. Excellent homemade corn and flour tortillas. Good salsa. Yum!

Best Menudo I’ve had in years. Came in right after they opened at 8. Ordered 2 coffees and 2 large menudos and both came out in under 5 minutes. Big portions and the menudo came out very hot. Super yummy food
